SENIOR FELLOWS
Dr. Stephen Farnsworth is Assistant Professor of Communication at George Mason University. He has published extensively on Canadian media and previously served as Canada-U.S. Fulbright Research Scholar at McGill University. Dr Farnsworth also worked for ten years as a daily newspaper journalist, and he has led reporter training seminars in India, the Philippines, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Armenia and Estonia on programs funded by the U.S. government. He is currently working on a book that compares coverage of the US in television news reports aired around the world.
Dr. Xiaomei Cai is Associate Professor of Communication at George Mason University. In collaboration with Dr. Xiaoquan Zhao, she is conducting a study of global warming coverage in Chinese newspapers. This is part of a project aimed at identifying effective communication techniques to help China craft a climate change prevention and adaptation action plan.
Dr. Xiaoquan Zhao is Associate Professor of Communication at George Mason University. In collaboration with Dr. Xiaomei Cai, he is conducting a study of global warming coverage in Chinese newspapers. This is part of a project aimed at identifying effective communication techniques to help China craft a climate change prevention and adaptation action plan.
Hong Yu Wang is a senior fellow at CMPA. She has worked as a major media senior broadcast journalist and senior news host in both the United States and China.
